Description
Significance: Ferrous is one of the most important micronutrients. Ferrous is useful for hormone function.
Deficiency: Ferrous deficiency causes difficulty in chlorophyll formation. Hence chlorosis appears in the new leaf. Ferrous deficiency occurs in calcareous soils.
Symptoms:
- Young shoots of crops turn yellow.
- Crop tops turn yellow.
- Also the bunches in the garden turn yellow and become hard. Symptoms include failure to respond to nutrients and organisms.
- Yellow spots occur on green leaves.
- Fruit set, seed growth is reduced.
How to use: Spray 1 to 1.5 grams per liter of water.
