Description
Calcium is an essential secondary nutrient. Calcium participates in the metabolism of other nutrients. Helps in proper cell expansion in plants. Calcium protects plants from disease.
Deficiency: Our soil is rich in calcium. But the vine cannot take it because it is in an insoluble state. Calcium deficiency occurs where calcium and magnesium are high.
Symptoms:
- Plants become dark green in color.
- Young leaves become pale in color.
- The leaf starts drying from the tip.
- Eventually the leaf buds die.
- Plants become soft and very small.
- Lack of calcium leads to poor root growth.
- Leaves become curled.
How to use: Spray 1 to 1.5 grams per liter of water.
