Importance: Zinc is very useful in building organisms. In crops, zinc is very useful for leaf growth, fruit set, and fruit growth.

Deficiency Symptoms:

  1. Zinc deficiency causes smaller leaves.
  2. The distance between the two seeds decreases is called ‘little leaf’.
  3. Leaves turn yellow due to reduction of green matter in leaf veins.
  4. Internodes are short.
  5. Flowers wilt.
  6. Fruit loss is reduced.
  7. Poor pollination occurs.

How to use: Spray 1 to 1.5 grams per liter of water.

Advantages: 1) Zinc plays an important role in the synthesis of auxin. 2) Produces auxin. 3) Leaves grow. 4) Very useful for fruit growth.
